Arthritis Ireland's 40th anniversary celebration took place as an in-person and online event on Saturday 26th November in the Aviva Stadium. The event celebrated the significant developments that Arthritis Ireland has made as a patient organisation and a health research charity in the four decades since it’s establishment.

The event included a range of presentations and panel discussions featuring Professor Geraldine McCarthy, Consultant Rheumatologist at Mater Hospital Dublin, Professor David Kane, Consultant Rheumatologist and HSE Clinical Lead for Rheumatology and the Arthritis Ireland Chairs of Rheumatology Professor Gerry Wilson and Professor Ursula Fearon. Patient representatives Peter Boyd, Services Support Officer at Arthritis Ireland and Claire Kinneavy will also discuss their journey with arthritis as part of the event.
