Mindfulness is a set of simple practices to incorporate into daily life to help break the cycle of stress, anxiety and unhappiness.

Mindfulness teacher, Susan Barrett, provides a helpful introduction to how these powerful practices might help people living with arthritis. She looks at the connection between physical pain and mental/emotional pain, meeting discomfort and working with uncertainty. This introductory conversation about mindfulness with Brian Lynch, Arthritis Ireland, was part of National Arthritis Week 2021.
