Living with Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) affects some 45,000 people in Ireland, with approximately 2,000 people diagnosed annually. Three out of four diagnosed are of working age, although young adults and older people can also develop the disease.
This Living with Rheumatoid Arthritis series of information evenings will provide you with information about the condition, what causes it, how it's diagnosed, treated, and crucially how you can manage and how to take care of RA.
Information evenings will take place as follows:
Tralee - 7pm 10 September - Dr Fahd Adeeb
Dundalk - 7pm 11 September - Dr Shawn Chavrimootoo
Dublin - 7pm 12 September - Dr Paul O'Connell
At each event, registration is from 7.00pm, with the presentation commencing at 7.30pm.
