Arthritis is the single biggest cause of disability Ireland, affecting approximately 1 million adults and 1200 children.  Symptoms range from the very mild to the severely debilitating. In many cases, arthritis pain and immobility prevents people from doing even the most basic of everyday tasks.

Not everyone knows that arthritis can affect anyone – any age, any gender, any background. It does not discriminate.

When you fundraise for Arthritis Ireland by taking part in a challenge, organising your own event or taking part in one of the events or campaigns we organise, you are helping ensure that we can continue to provide services that ensure that every person living with arthritis in Ireland is supported to live a full and active life; minimising the devastating effects that arthritis can have on their lives.

Ways to support may include, for example:

  • Donate / fundraise
  • Leave a legacy
  • Volunteer
  • Partner with us / Sponsor something / Get your colleagues involved
  • Friendship: Join us
  • Shop in our eshop

What will you do to raise funds for Arthritis Ireland?
