Susan BarrettMindfulness is a set of simple practices to incorporate into daily life to help break the cycle of stress, anxiety and unhappiness. Mindfulness teacher, Susan Barrett, provides a helpful introduction to how these powerful practices might help people living with arthritis. She looks at the connection between physical pain and mental/emotional pain, meeting discomfort and working with uncertainty.

On Monday we will air an introductory conversation about mindfulness with Brian Lynch, Arthritis Ireland, and at 11am on Tuesday-Thursday this week we will air short practice sessions on our social media channels with Susan around awareness and breathing, body scan, and mindful movement.
