Mary O'Rourke sadly left us after a courageous battle with Covid-19 in 2022. Mary lived with Rheumatoid Arthritis over the last 15 years of her life. Marys family and friends have taken part in the Great Limerick Run since 2022 to honour Marys Memory by fundraising for Arthritis Ireland to help fund further research and support for people with rheumatoid arthritis. As many of you know, my Dad Thomas suffers very badly with rheumatoid arthritis, some days he finds it hard to even get out of bed! At the moment there is no cure for it but, over the years, treatment for RA has advanced significantly giving many people a better outlook.
