Liam - My Story

“My name is Liam. Arthritis is so sore and makes me get injections. Mummy says I’m brave but sometimes I cry. Sometimes she cries too.”

Liam was just recently diagnosed with arthritis in March 2013. His arthritis is quite aggressive and so he needed urgent treatment to prevent any lasting damage to his joints.

“As you can imagine we were trying to absorb everything as well as coping with the realisation that out baby boy has arthritis at 3 years of age, it just seems unreal,” Liam’s mum Jodi says.

“My biggest fear is that any damage done can not be repaired and this really scares me as Liam has no mobility in his wrist already and some days walking and climbing stairs is a real struggle.”
