We only receive 9% of our funding each year from statutory bodies. This means that we have to raise the remaining 91% through fundraising events and campaigns. There are nearly 1 million adults and over 1,200 children in Ireland living with arthritis who need our help and support. While we know that most people would like to help and make a difference, life is busy and sometimes they just don't get around to it.
So we send our team around the country to give as many people as possible the chance to support Arthritis Ireland's work.
Regular or monthly donations are by far the most effective way to give to charity. It allows us to ensure that we can continue to provide and expand our services to those people who need them most. The promise of a regular donation is also one of the most practical methods to ensure that we can plan and budget for our long-term commitments. And because this funding comes from the public, we can ensure that it is spent where it is needed the most.

We work with a company called Infinity Fundraising who manage each of the fundraisers on our team. Each team receives full training from Arthritis Ireland before beginning their campaign.On top of this, once each month, each team will receive refresher training to keep them up to date on any developments, news and events within Arthritis Ireland.
