Being involved in your community is one of the best things you can do for your arthritis. Joining a committee will keep you active and socialised, joining an exercise group is the best thing you can do to keep your joints mobile and flexible and going to an information event makes sure that you are kept well informed about your condition and developments in rheumatology.
Arthritis Ireland has a wide range of support services, exercise groups and volunteering opportunities in communities around Ireland and we welcome everyone who is interested in getting involved in any area of our work, on behalf of people with arthritis, their families, friends and carers.
Being involved in the grassroots running of a major charity like Arthritis Ireland is a fantastic and rewarding experience and is easy to do. There are many ways to get involved, from becoming a branch committee member to helping out at fundraising and information events.
