The inaugural Fibromyalgia Health and Wellbeing Summit is being jointly organised by Arthritis Ireland and FibroIreland. Featuring expert contributors and leading practitioners, the summit will offer the latest thinking from the medical and research world, while addressing issues of concern to those living with fibromyalgia. Sessions at the summit will focus on:

  • Latest developments in diagnosing and treating fibromyalgia
  • The patient experience
  • Self-management
  • Sleep
  • Nutrition and diet
  • Tai chi practice and mindfulness to start the day well
  • Breathing exercises

The summit will provide an opportunity for those living with the condition to connect, to share personal stories and experiences, and to learn more about how to better manage their condition. In addition to the timetabled sessions, the summit will also include complementary treatments for delegates, including massage and mindfulness.

As the first event of its kind, and organised by two national patient organisations, the Fibromyalgia Health and Wellbeing Summit is uniquely positioned within the Irish health and wellness landscape.
