Arthritis Ireland is a limited company with charity status (CHY6297) governed by a board of directors comprising business people, experts in the area of arthritis treatment and care and patients themselves. The board takes advice on matters concerning finance from the Audit & Finance Sub-Committee, advice on medical and research matters from our Academic Development Sub-Committee and on all aspects of volunteering and community development from the Volunteering Sub-Committee. Given our dependence on sustainable fundraising and the importance of good effective communications to our success, the board also takes advice from the Fundraising & Communications Sub-Committee.

We are also members of a number of other organisations to ensure we are compliant with the highest possible standards and are equipped with the necessary skills to achieve our goals.
