National Raffle

We will once again be hosting our annual National Raffle from August to November of this year in support of Arthritis Ireland educational programmes and services. This raffle has been running with great success since 1987 and we hope that this year, with your help, will be no exception.

Where do the funds go?

Arthritis Ireland’s educational and support services are designed to help those affected by arthritis understand their condition, take back control of their lives, reduce pain and build a positive mental attitude so they can live their best possible quality of life. Each year Arthritis Ireland helps and supports over 50,000 people affected by the condition. This support varies from once of advice via our website, Arthritis Life magazine and information leaflets through to regular support and education via our Living Well with Arthritis, Breaking the Pain Cycle and Working with Arthritis Programmes.

How does selling raffle tickets help those affected by arthritis?

By kindly selling raffle tickets on behalf of Arthritis Ireland, you can help many more people deal with the everyday pain, isolation and worry of this chronic disease by providing them with access to the support and education they need to improve their quality of life.

What are the prizes?

We are offering some wonderful prizes including a Topflight luxury wellness break, Power Plate® my3™ machine which allows you to exercise without excessive stress on your joints and Naturasleep Cashmere & Wool 4 Piece Double-bed set. This year, as a special thanks to anyone selling two books or more – just thirty tickets – we will enter you into a sellers’ prize draw to win a Irish Provincial Hampers Country Picnic Basket!

The tickets;

Each book contains 15 tickets at €2 each or €25 for the complete book. The final draw will take place on November 25th 2008 so be sure to send your ticket stubs, cheques/postal orders to FREEPOST, Arthritis Ireland, 1 Clanwilliam Square, Grand Canal Quay, Dublin 2 before November 21st 2008.
