Arthritis Ireland has an exciting year of activity planned in 2010/2011 for which we require corporate sponsorship. Make our charity your charity of choice
Your company can appoint Arthritis Ireland as one of its preferred charities. We will then work with your organisation to develop a programme of support that best suits your Corporate Social Responsibility or marketing requirements. 86% of consumers agree that when price and quality are equal they are more likely to choose a product associated with a cause - (source: Business in the Community). Employee Engagement
Staff led fundraising events have significant benefits to organisations including increased satisfaction rates, feeling of improved work life balance and team building benefits. Your employees can organise their own fundraising activity or participate in one of the many Arthritis Ireland fundraising activities occurring during the year.
The Arthritis Ireland ‘Friend in Deed’ Door through Door transportation programme is one of our employee engagement schemes available. This programme is designed to provide reliable, safe transportation and support for people with arthritis who lack mobility order to make a real difference to the quality of their life.
By working door through door, our volunteers not only drive the person with arthritis to their destination, but assist them in accomplishing their tasks i.e. help the person do their shopping by reaching for items from shelves, pushing the trolley, carrying bags – all which can be very difficult if living with arthritis..
How it works:
Arthritis Ireland will work with our corporate partners to link your staff with people requiring the service in the local community who need them.
The type of trips and support that will be included:
All types of trips and support will be offered. They could include:
- Trips to doctors and other medical support networks ie physiotherapists, occupational therapists and hydro therapy.
- Trips to your place of worship each week
- Trips to the supermarket, bank, post office etc
- Trips to local community events ie local bingo or coffee mornings.
Corporate Donations
Demonstrate your company’s support of Arthritis Ireland through a corporate donation. Donations are subject to generous tax relief as they are viewed as trading expenses, for example, a donation of €5,000 to Arthritis Ireland will cost your company approximately €3,675.
Gifts in Kind
In kind sponsorship of all kinds are very welcome whether they be products or services. We will work with your organisation to determine the optimum Gifts in Kind required to assist us in achieving our goals.
